You Are Not Alone

In the June 2009 article, I wrote that over the next several months you’d be reading quite a bit about the stellium in Aquarius formed by Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune. Although this stellium won’t always be “tight,” it will last until the end of the year. Throughout the month of July 2009, this stellium is very tight to the point that Jupiter will form an exact conjunction to both Chiron and Neptune later this month. It’s also important to note that all three energy points are in retrograde motion during the month of July.

For those of you who didn’t read my June 2009 article, there are a few things to understand about a stellium and what is meant by a stellium being “tight.” A stellium is a cluster of three or more energy points (in this case two planets: Jupiter and Neptune; and one asteroid: Chiron) which are within 15 or 19 degrees of each other. (Sometimes the separation can be a little greater if there are more planets involved, especially the Sun and the Moon.) However, in a “tight” stellium, the degrees are a lot closer. And, with these three energy points the separation between each other will be a little less that 2 degrees throughout the month.

Stelliums represent a fusing of energy where the group operates as one. An intensity is generated where you feel everything is happening all at once and you really don’t have much control over the situation. In this case, both Jupiter and Neptune indicate the need to move beyond the common boundaries normally found in society. In the positive this means that you have the opportunity to view life from a different perspective and come up with new solutions to old problems. In the negative this means that you care so little about what others think that you generate problems not only for yourself but also for people in your life. Chiron is considered in personal astrology as the wounded healer and in mundane astrology as the profit received from business ventures. In many ways, Chiron insists on honesty. You need to be honest about your pain if you want to heal. You need to be honest with your financial situation if you want to succeed.

The reality is that old rules don’t really work anymore. As with the month of June, you’ll feel confused on how to proceed, especially as it relates to financial matters. Assessing your personal situation with honesty is the answer. Taking incremental steps to make changes in your life is the solution. It’s also very important to understand that because the stellium is in Aquarius what you do in your life has a direct impact on the lives of others. There is a spiritual connection which is felt throughout the world. You are not alone.

On July 1st, several things occur. Uranus in Pisces turns retrograde and Mercury in Gemini forms a trine to the Aquarius stellium of Jupiter, Chiron, and Neptune. Venus in Taurus begins to form a square to the Aquarius stellium which ends on July 2nd when Venus forms a trine to Uranus retrograde. There are two intense days. You may find yourself having strange dreams. The trine from Mercury to the Aquarius stellium opens up your higher consciousness. The dreams you are having may be cleansing and bringing up subconscious matters that need to be resolved emotionally. Or, the dreams that you have may be connecting you with concerns other people in the world are feeling.

With Venus forming a square to the Aquarius stellium this is going to be a difficult time economically. The stock market will be very erratic. You may feel that your bills are piling up while your income is decreasing. If you are self-employed, you may want to consider developing partnerships or collaborative relationships with people in aligned businesses. This could be a good time to discuss potential joint ventures. If you are an employee and things are bothering you, take time to discuss these matters with your family. Again, you’ll find that you’re not alone.

When Mercury moves into Cancer it forms an opposition to Pluto retrograde in Capricorn the following day, July 4th. It’s probably a good thing that July 4th is a holiday for many people in the United States. When Mercury forms an opposition to Pluto, you’ll feel very intense. You may want to push your point of view and forget to listen to others. But, if you’re relaxing, you may find that it’s easier not to focus on concerns. Do be very careful when driving because some people may be so intense that they are willing to commit road rage to get their driving point across.

This same need to make certain others hear your point of view will continue throughout the 5th and 6th of July as Mars forms a square to the Aquarius stellium and Venus forms a quincunx to Pluto retrograde. You may want to resolve some problems, but other people aren’t willing to listen to you. However, acting in anger won’t resolve anything either. There is a positive way to use this energy. If you can stand back and listen to others, you’ll find that they are actually voicing the same concerns you have. You may even be able to find joint solutions to common problems.

On July 7th there is a penumbral lunar eclipse. This eclipse is not important in the conscious world because it cannot be seen by the naked eye. But it is important on a subconscious level. You may feel that energy needs to be cleared around and in your home. You may once again experience various dreams that are either of a cleansing nature or perhaps prophetic.

July 10th is an important day astrologically because Jupiter retrograde forms an exact conjunct to Neptune retrograde. This is a twelve-year cycle that usually occurs in a series of three. It first occurred in this series on May 27, 2009. At that time the focus was on the American auto industry and the bankruptcy filings of General Motors and Chrysler. Just a few weeks earlier the world was concerned about a Swine Flu pandemic.

Whenever Jupiter forms a conjunction to Neptune there are concerns about the economy, health matters, and technical developments which focus primarily in the field of health. The danger when this conjunction occurs is that stories and rumors can get out of control, especially on a global scale. So it’s important that you listen to your heart and the facts rather than various rumors which swirl around the world right now.

Economically there is a danger that decisions made are based on rumor or fear. Because so much in the world is now connected and information spreads rapidly, it’s very important for you to verify what you hear before making any decisions. Rumors tend to spread faster than truth. And, because the economy and technological advances are two of the most important areas highlighted by this cycle, you’ll need to guard against possible computer attacks by making certain that all your various protections for the computer are up to date.

Jupiter and Neptune also represent the importance of maintaining a spiritual focus as you find ways to implement your spiritual code in today’s world.

Perhaps it’s a good idea to look back to what occurred in your life at the end of May 2009. This may help you to understand if any fears are standing in your way today. This may also help you understand what you need to do on a spiritual level to move forward in your life.

Unfortunately, this conjunction indicates that the banking industry is trying to adjust to changing forces in the economy. Some banks may be doing well, but others will be forced to close or merge with larger banks. As these closures or mergers occur, banking fees will increase for customers as banks find that it’s still difficult to make loans and earn money off the interest of those loans.

The final occurrence of this conjunction will be on December 21, 2009. At that point there may be a better concept of what changes really need to be made both on an economic level and also in your life. Until that time, you need to make changes slowly and try to learn the new rules that eventually will apply.

Mercury forms a sextile to Saturn on July 11th and a sextile to Ceres on July 13th. These two days are important as healing days. You’ll feel a mental clarity. You’ll be able to communicate in a manner that other people understand you. In addition, you’ll feel emotional support from family and friends. While you may not make any major decisions right now, you may be able to relax because of the love that surrounds you.

Some tension may occur between July 14th when Mars forms a quincunx to Pluto retrograde and July 15th when Mercury forms a quincunx to the Aquarius stellium of Chiron retrograde, Jupiter retrograde, and Neptune retrograde. Quincunxes always represent the need to make adjustments in your life. The adjustments that you may need to make are how you think things through. Or, you may need to watch your communications. At the same time, you could feel very frustrated about things. So you need to be careful today. However, when Mercury forms a trine to Uranus retrograde on July 16th, you’ll feel as if you’ve come to some resolutions or realizations.

July 17th proves to be an interesting day. Mercury enters Leo and forms an opposition to the Moon’s North Node. Or, stated another way, Mercury forms a conjunction to the Moon’s South Node. Don’t be surprised if you run into people from your past. They may be old friends and you’re glad to see them. Or, they may be people that you had disagreements with and need to resolve the matter. If things come up that need resolution, it’s very important that you do that otherwise arguments could erupt the following day when Mercury forms a quincunx to Pluto.

The solar total eclipse occurs on July 21st not that long after Venus forms a square to Virgo. This is a major eclipse which moves through India and China. The partial aspect of this eclipse will be seen in most of eastern Asia, Indonesia, and the Pacific Ocean. This eclipse will also be seen in Shanghai. This is very important because the last few times an eclipse went through Shanghai several important changes occurred with the global economy. This is not a good day for the stock market.

This eclipse occurs with both the Sun and Moon in Cancer forming a loose quincunx to the Aquarius stellium and a loose sextile to Ceres. You really need to pay attention to your health and the health of your family. This is a time when any problems with your family need to be resolved. You also need to take the necessary steps to make certain that you’re healthy.

Jupiter retrograde forms its exact conjunction to Chiron on July 22nd, the day after the eclipse and just before the Sun enters Leo. This reinforces the need for you to take care of your health. It also indicates that any difficulties with family members need to be resolved.

Resolving difficulties, especially with people you love, will be easier on July 27th when Venus forms a trine to the Aquarius stellium. Somehow you’ll be able to develop goals with each other. You’ll be able to discuss things which have bothered you.

As the month ends Mercury forms an opposition to Chiron retrograde and Neptune retrograde on July 30th and July 31st. The month started with Mercury forming a trine to the Aquarius stellium and now there is an opposition. It means that whatever you decided was important at the start of the month now needs to be re-evaluated. You might need to make changes to your plans. However, whatever changes you need to make will actually be a good thing for you and people in your life. Once again, it’s important to understand that your actions do have an impact on other people in your life and you are not alone.
